“Visual Link Spanish” is an interactive conversational style course which teaches words and phrases you will need to know while traveling to either Latin America or Spain.It has been in existence since 1995.  In addition, the course acknowledges people have different reasons to learn Spanish. The emphasis is to teach Spanish by learning to speak in complete sentence patterns which are used in everyday situations. Instead of memorizing isolated vocabulary words Spanish is learned in themes (“Communication”, “Basic Needs”, etc.) and then within each theme Spanish is broken down into word groups. Next, words are chosen from each group to make sentences. Even after the first lesson a student can speak several multiple complete sentences.

 

The Visual Link program is marketed to homeschoolers as well traditional classroom schools. They offer textbooks, curriculum, over 450 lesson plans for Spanish along with training for educators. All lesson plans are 100% ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages). The program also offers a list of courses which a student can obtain High School credit through NARHS (National Atlantic Regional High Schools).

 

To address the workplace Spanish market Visual Link Spanish has created a course to increase a business’ market and help bridge their communication gaps. Employees will use the Visual Link method of learning to speak the language in complete sentences instead of focusing on boring vocabulary words and grammar.
